Thanks for the report; been waiting for somebody to get there. From your photo you made it to the lake itself. Was it a pretty do-able hike or really difficult in terms of obstacles?

The biggest obstacles were getting around the new bridges. They should be completed this week sometime. There is snow for about 100 yards before the bridge at the campground. I'm sure there will be much less snow by the weekend. I arrived Friday afternoon and left at 10:00 Sunday morning. The lake refroze Friday night but not Saturday night.

Thanks! This looks like a perfect time to try this one. Last time in this area was a few years ago to Greider Lakes; before they put in the large bridges on the road conversion part. Buddy fell into one of those big creeks while crossing.
