Trip Report

Paradise Valley Conservation Area — Sunday, Apr. 27, 2025

Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area

First time exploring this area and had a great time wandering down trails, we logged 4.7 miles along Mainline, Whispering Firs, Cascara, and Bigleaf trails and plan to come back and see more.
Trails are well maintained and were not muddy or hard to navigate.
I do want to complain about lazy a$$ dog owners who think it’s okay to bag their dog crap and leave it on random places along the trail or by the trailhead. If you can’t put it in your car and take it home to dispose of, don’t bring your dog. “Pack it out” refers to dog crap, too.
Other than a dozen bags of dog crap and some weird tissues randomly impaled on tree branches like frigging Hansel & Gretel, the trails were clean.
