Windy wildflower hike today to Tom McCall point. Arrived just after 9 am to gale force winds and stunning blooms. Parking was easy and the drive up to the trailhead was scenic. Flowers blooming include arrow leaf balsam root, lupine, paint brush, larkspur, biscuit root, desert parsley and others. Mount Adams, Columbia River and Mount Hood graced us with their presence.
Friendly reminders, please stay on the trail and downhill trekkers should give way to uphill hikers. Happy trails.
