Rowena Plateau and Tom McCall Point — Wednesday, Apr. 23, 2025

There are bcarpets of yellow balsamroots from the parking lot to the top of McCall Point. The Nature Conservancy’s well maintained trail climbs 1000’ in 1.8 miles to the Point, elevation 1712’. I continued another 0.7 mile south on a use path that climbs 200’ to a nice oak forest plateau with more flowers and views.
