Chill day hike with the boys, went up with just the sneakers and it was mostly snow free until the top. It is in fact possible to make it without gear or expertise. The old trail has a lot less snow, but it’s steeper and a lot better for going down. Sliding down kind of hurt with the ice but it was still fun. Nice 360 view on the top, and a bird. Very Sigma.
