This is a very popular trail, especially for dog owners. There were a lot of aggressive/reactive dogs (more than 10). Please consider this is you’re bringing a reactive dog. It adds stress for other dogs/hikers. The trail can be narrow in places and the summit crowded. Everyone was nice and respectable though. Great day outside regardless.
The previous trip report is spot on! Around noon the gusts really picked up. If you’re lucky you’ll get a spot near the outcrop at the summit to block the wind so you can enjoy some food.
Bathroom at TH was open but limited TP.
