Big Tree Trail — Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025

Big tree trail near Bremerton. Really easy to miss the turn. It looks like a driveway to a house. Keep going and there is a fairly large parking lot at trailhead. You can take old road or trail. All the elevation gain/loss is at the beginning of the trail. Trail has lots of roots. Quiet forest, no one else there. Great spot if you are nearby. I wouldn’t make it a destination. I was hoping for a super easy hike for elderly relatives, but will need to keep looking for that criteria.
