West Fork Foss River and Lakes — Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2024

So I thought there would be snow on the trail with all the new snow falling up at the pass. Nope. Nada. I was able to drive all the way to the trailhead, no problem. The trail is wet in places but pretty much snow free all the way to Trout Lake. I didn't need my microspikes and I certainly didn't need the snowshoes I was hauling. I was going to continue on up but instead of the light sprinkle, it started to seriously rain. I decided to have my lunch and head back.
