Not sure why the previous report is so negative. This is a charming loop trail. Yes, some minor parts are on stretches of asphalt but not every trail needs to have the force or majesty of Mailbox. There are beautiful views of Lake Easton and the Yakima River, with mountains flanking the lake.
I would rate this an easy hike. One portion had a medium climb and there were approximately 4 switchbacks that were easy to navigate in another portion. Nothing strenuous. Easy walk on the P2C portion. Lovely fall colors and sunshine. I mostly had the whole loop to myself. (Note the date of this post.) Tons of parking. Clean bathrooms that were heated!!
Note that many businesses mentioned in the WTA description are closed so bring your own water/snacks/whatever if you need them.
