Did a nighttime loop around Green Lake!
Parked at the parking lot next to the restrooms/boathouse on the south side of the lake on West Green Lake Way N around 6:30 in the evening (it wasn't pitch black yet, but pretty dark). The lot had plenty of cars but there were a few spots available. The parking lot across the street only had a few cars, so it would've been a great second option.
The women's restroom was clean, had toilet paper, and had warm running water in the sink!
The paved trail itself is, unsurprisingly, in great shape. We did the whole thing counterclockwise without headlamps. There were occasional streetlamps, but it was fine in areas without those too. Some parts, especially heading south on the Aurora Ave side of the lake, were a little more difficult because we were facing bright car headlights the whole time, but it wasn't a big deal.
When we got back to the parking lot around 7:30, the parking lot had cleared out, and we were among very few cars left. Honestly, an awesome nighttime urban hike. I'll be back to do this one again on a clear night!
