Started at Basalt Ridge trailhead. Some quick bullet points:
- No water available along the route. Maybe if you detour way off trail below Basalt Ridge, but I wouldn't plan on that
- Burn area has been cleared up. One down tree posed a minor obstacle. On-trail portion of the route otherwise in good shape
- Off-trail portion of the route up Garland has a lot of dense young trees that were annoying to navigate through/around
