Nothing new to report. I picked up some trash, though, including this fresh banana peel ~ 2 miles from the TH, which means someone carried it that far without any problem before (apparently)eating it and tucking the peel into a tree on the side of the trail.
A reminder to pack out your trash, including food items (orange peels, apple cores,…banana peels).
The rest of the trash was toilet paper. Again. If you don’t want to use or don’t understand the concept of a pee cloth, bring something to pack your garbage out. So frustrating.

Unfortunately the people doing this are probably not WTA members and won't see this public service announcement. And if they did, knowing them they wouldn't care. Fortunately I didn't see nearly as many of these kinds of people this year as I did last summer.
