Hidden Lake (Lake Wenatchee) — Monday, Sep. 2, 2024

Spent the weekend camping at Lake Chelan and it was too hot for a hike but just right for lounging in and near the lake. I have nothing but good things to say about Hipcamp, especially when it comes to last minute holiday camping trips.
As we drove home, we couldn’t resist a stop at Lake Wenatchee and a fully shaded quick hike to Hidden Lake.
Vault toilet in the lot is in good shape. For a short trail, it sure has suffered a lot of fallen trees! It’s impressive the amount of work that has been done to keep this trail free from obstacles. There’s a detour around a big tree and one little step over or walk under (if you’re a rat terrier).
