Beautiful day to be on the trails. I appreciate crystal lakes because it doesn’t require a timed entry permit to MRNP. Perfect for last minute hiking.
The trail is well maintained, but relentless. Good thing it’s short. I went all up to sourdough gap today and the views of the lake from there are well worth the extra mile. Wildflowers are there, but definitely past prime.
