Beverly Turnpike — Thursday, Aug. 22, 2024

Did the Beverly Turnpike trail on 8/22. Weather cloudy but no rain and comfortable temps. Trail in good shape with very little mud and all small stream crossings very easy. We only saw one other party, one guy with a pack horse coming down.  A few yellow jackets up at the top but no mosquitoes.  There were still a few wildflowers to be seen. The last mile of road is a little rough but no huge potholes and was just fine with a Honda CRV.
