Earlier reports don't mention the epic huckleberries that currently line nearly the entire trail. Red ones below and blue above. I have never seen them so large and dense. Also, no bugs today, apparently a big change from a couple of weeks ago. We barely got above the clouds, but no big deal, as I've seen the view many times. The scramble at the top is not difficult thanks to the steps that were cut long ago, but it's quite exposed, so be careful, especially if things are wet. Trail is in great shape; I only recall stepping over one small tree. Track reported 11.25 mi round trip with 3850' gain.
