Trail from Salmon La Sac was very rocky and quite steep in areas. Had 2 small dogs with me so only did a 6 mile out and back. Pros: Lovely walking through the woods! , only saw one couple on a gorgeous day. Cons: very dry and I might suggest booties for your dogs feet.
