Sheep Lake to Sourdough Gap — Saturday, Jul. 13, 2024

Great day up to Sheep Lake and then Sourdough Gap. I got to the parking lot at 9:15AM and it was already full, so I parked on the road. Perhaps a few more people on the trail than I would have preferred, but I did go on a Saturday so that's on me. Got up to Sourdough Gap in just about 1 hour with my dog. Since I had my furry companion, I didn't extend my trip to get a view of Crystal Lake. However if you don't know that hack, certainly walk the extra quarter mile for great view of Mount Rainier and Crystal Lake below (just not supposed to bring your dog, since it's within Mount Rainier National Park).
