Hidden Lake Lookout — Sunday, Jun. 30, 2024

Arrived at the trailhead at 10:30am with only two other cars parked. The last stretch of the road up is absolutely not for the faint of heart. Let some air out of your tires before you g up, go slower than you think is necessary. Blind turns and narrow stretches where if another car was coming down I don’t know what we’d have done. Took 30 mins in a Subaru Crosstrek to drive up the last 3-mile pot-hole-from-hell stretch and we got a flat tire right at the top!!

This report is solely to thank PETER and his party for filling our donut with enough air for us to drive down safely. If it weren’t for them we would have been f****d as there’s no cell service for miles. We immediately drove down the mountain on a donut (took an hour) but we made it with no issues.
