We were the only ones at Dorothy Lake in the middle of the week on the first day of summer. The bugs were tolerable, the weather was warm, and the lake was cold.
We counted twelve fallen logs over the Dorothy Lake Trail. All of them seemed reasonably passable by agile hikers and I didn’t see any urgent safety concerns. Some logs have destroyed box steps and puncheons and there will be plenty of work for a trail crew here.
