There is still a little snow on lower sections of the trail,will probably melt out with the heat in the next few days. A lot of snow at around 5000 feet in the trees just below the rim. My hiking partner and I tried crossing snow fields to find the trail but ultimately decided it wasn’t worth getting hurt or lost and turned around.
Otherwise it was a gorgeous day with fantastic views and some wildflowers starting to bloom
