Mount Baldy — Friday, Jun. 7, 2024

Great hike today, no mud or snow at the top. Bugs were definitely out but not too bad. The wildflowers are blooming out on the ridge traverse and were very nice to stop and enjoy.

There was some blow down ranging from small logs to larger trees that required climbing under or over.

The descent has some pretty steep loose sections and you will want shoes or boots with good traction. I took a pretty decent fall without poles when my feet just slid out downhill.
