Trail is in great shape! No snow. The muddy sections had dried out a bit by June 1 and were not a problem to cross, but that may change with the rain the next few days. Most water crossings were not too bad - there were rocks you could use to get across. There was just one water crossing after the juncture with Thompson Lakes that was a little bit bigger (see photo). Still possible to cross by rock hopping, but your flippers might get a little wet. Water crossing conditions might change with all the rain and higher temps.
It was pretty busy for a gloomy Saturday - probably saw ~50 people on the trail.
