What a gem of a state park. Lovely forested trails with lots of choose your own adventure options with the various trail spurs. Trail was still quite muddy and puddle-y but still totally navigable. WTA has resources on how to hike around horses which I found helpful before hitting the trail, and there are also signs at the trailhead about etiquette. Also you can buy your annual discover pass in the parking lot!
