Old Sauk River Trail — Sunday, May. 5, 2024

What a beautiful day! This is my favorite rainy day hike and we opted for this anticipating rain but only got the beautiful PNW clouds. Only a few cars at the lot, plenty of spaces. We saw a raven eating from skeletal remains in the river and a pair of frogs, as well as main beautiful flowers. 

There is one kind of sketchy bridge that I was not sure could support my very plus size figure but it held both times I crossed it (I did make my sister wait to go one at a time just to be safe!)

Of course we stopped at Moe’s on the way home for delicious ice cream!
