Wallace Falls State Park — Wednesday, Apr. 24, 2024

Wednesday was a very chill day at the park. I arrived about 10am and the parking lot was mostly empty, and I ran into very few hikers along the way. I was delighted to run into a WTA work party finishing up a very beautiful set of stairs! The work is absolutely gorgeous. I only went as high as the valley overlook at the top of the middle falls, and spent some time down at the middle falls viewpoint to do some painting. There were some absolutely enormous mosquitos buzzing around me, but I think I made it out unscathed. The bleeding hearts are all blooming like crazy and are so gorgeous.
