Seward Park — Tuesday, Apr. 23, 2024

Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area
A turtle and its log

We took the loop around the park starting from the playground this evening. There were many other folks at the park also enjoying the evening, so I parked in a nearby neighborhood and walked to the park.

The weather was perfect! Rainier was fully out and beautiful across the water. There were waterfowl everywhere, and we even saw a ton of turtles on some logs in the water near the trail. Many flowers are blooming.

We stayed until the sun started going down, around 7:00 pm. The bugs started getting a little annoying around then, but nothing that made me feel like I needed to bring bug spray.

All in all, it was a lovely walk on a lovely evening.
