The trail conditions are excellent now - no traces of mud left. Construction near the trailheads is continuing but all trails are open again, although a few sections of the main trail/Westberg Trail are under recovery and there are appropriate small detours around those areas.
Arrived just past 9:30 on a sunny warm Saturday and saw around 15 other cars parked and more when I returned. Hiked up and ran back down - total time 59 minutes for 3.93 miles tracked. Some spots of loose rock require a slower pace but overall excellent trail conditions. Various low wildflowers are in bloom as well as the larger balsamroot currently. Cannot be emphasized enough that 95% of this trail is entirely exposed so water and sunscreen are imperative.
