Wet today but all roads and trails cleared of major debris. Snow and ice in the trees that blow down in the wind. The cell towers are full of falling ice. Trails free of snow, slightly muddy. Very foggy at the top but intermittent views.

Hi PolkaLynx,
Please advise: did you drive (as per Summitpost directions info) as follows:
..
9) Drive along the "C-Line" Forest Road for 1.9 miles to a small open area, from which the "C-7000" Forest Road turns sharply right off the main road.
10) Drive along the "C-7000" Forest Road for 3.4 miles, until its end/intersection (~2350' elevation) with the "C-4000" Forest Road.
NOTE: This is a major intersection, with a lot of open space in the middle. Park in the open area, where available and where not obstructing right-of-way traffic.
If yes, how's C-7000 condition?
Thanks!

Honestly I dont know if that is how we went up, we followed Google Maps from the southeast. We were definitely on C7000 and it was fine, someone had chainsawed all the fallen branches so you could pass. No snow or ice either. We also drove around some of the other roads to explore and they were all clear and passable.
As we were leaving, Google took us out to the northeast and one of the roads turned out to be a deadend, even though it was shown as a through street on the map. So we turned around and went back the way we came to the southeast.
