Arrived at the Park & Ride/Trail Parking parking lot at 10am with only 1 other car there. Only ran into 3 hikers and the trail can be very muddy in certain areas. Started at the Upper Trail and at first it seemed like any other PNW hike. Didn't expect much from this trail but it surprised me after the first viewpoint. Changing of landscapes and the amount of viewpoints was amazing. Going from fern, moss covered forests to back roads, under a highway via tunnels, and through moss covered rocks was quite the adventure. First Columbia River Gorge hike I've done but I'll definitely come back on the warmer months or when it's more clear. Overall, this was a great hike.
