Up the old, down the new as the saying goes. And oh yea, this was the HARDEST hike I've ever done, but it was an amazing experience. Snow starts around Old/New trail junction. Not much, but it's frozen and quite slippery, especially at the Talus field. Hiked up without spikes and almost ate it a few times but made sure to where them on the way down. Very windy at the summit. Views were amazing and you could see the base of Mt. Rainier and even the Olympics. Checked the mail and found some Fireball Whiskey. Will definitely do this hike again on a WARM clear day.
