My son and I had planned on spending the night at Ridge Camp on the Coldwater trail #230. However I forgot the poles for our tent, so we decided to do a day hike instead. Snow started intermittently just before Ridge Camp, the camp area itself was completely clear of any snow. We never encountered more than 3" inches of snow the entire day. At 5.5 miles we turned around, this was just short of the junction that connected with the Boundary trail.
