Happy to have sunny weather on this beach hike. At least it started out that way! Ha! We had a surprise rainstorm that made us turn back before we got out to the point but it wasn’t cold and it helps to dress for the weather! Bring that rain shell/windbreaker!  
Easy parking and even easier when you’re staying at one of the nice vaca places right on the beach there.  
Birdwatching is supposed to be great here but we were kinda in the off season I think. I’d love to come back when the snowy plovers are nesting March- September. We did see a dead seal on the beach. He had some grey going on so I like to think he was old and had a nice long seal life. We almost tripped over him he blends so well with landscape. 
The waves were wonderful and we were hoping to go again the next day but the weather turned awful windy so we stayed in our cozy cabin and took in the view instead.
