Get ready for some elevation gains!
We did the bridal veil falls spur, so worth it for a break point (highly suggest doing it on the way up, as you'll most likely be spent on your way down and not want to go UP again).
Lovely day, pretty busy trail once the day started going even though we did a 7am start, glad we got a head start before the crowds really got going. PLENTY of people coming up midday as we were coming down.
There are so many stairs once you start climbing up to the lake, and if you have short legs, they're really a pain since they're so big. Took us a slow going 3 hours to get up to the lake. It was a heat wave day, so taking it easy and drinking plenty was ideal. The shores were pretty crowded, but you just kind of find a spot to chill before heading back down. There is a toilet near the top.
