Wellington Ghost Town — Monday, Sep. 6, 2021

We hiked from the Wellington Ghost Town trailhead. Road is rough but passable. Two spotless vault toilets and ample parking at the trailhead. Only two other cars when we arrived at 1130 on Labor Day. The kids enjoyed exploring the snowshoes and learning the history of Wellington. We hike a total of 5 miles round trip (you could definitely go further) and so only one other person. The trail is level and clear with intermittent Mountain View’s. You do hear traffic on highway 2 for most of the hike.
