Did a quick overnight to Meander Meadow/Cady Ridge Loop. The road to the Little Wenatchee trailhead is rough for the last two miles when it turns to gravel, go slow (you have to!) and it's fine. I was intimidated by prior reports of this trail concerning the overgrown avalanche chutes, but actually, it wasn't too bad at all. Crews have been out and it's totally passable. We left the car at about 1:15 and made it to the meadow at about 3:45. There is a stream flowing about half way up the steep ascent before arriving in the meadow in case you need water. Lots of crazy big blueberries! Many opportunities for trail munching along the way.
There was a giant team of Youth Corps kids camped at the meadow(lucky us!) but we found a nice spot after walking around for a bit. Bugs are bad when you're not walking. A small tongue of snow still present at the far end of the meadow.
Left the next morning in fog and hiked to the PCT south, then caught the Cady Ridge trail to complete the loop. Extremely steep descent on the Cady trail near the end, the knees started to complain, but we made it work. Left camp at 8:05am and made it to the car at 12:10. Lots of cars in the lot.
