Sheep Lake — Monday, Aug. 9, 2021

WTA directions to the trailhead are easy to follow and correct. Trail is in great condition and short enough for an quick afternoon hike. I saw quite a few people on the trail with the same idea at 4pm in the afternoon. Also quite a few coming back to the parking lot. Huckleberries are abundant and ready to eat, so take your time and enjoy them! There seems to be plentiful campsites when you arrive at Sheep Lake. I went on a weekday and there were a few families camping. Great introductory trail for a hike and great area to introduce littles or newcomers to backpacking. I can only imagine how busy it might be during the weekend.
