MISSING CAMERA!!!
My girlfriend and I hiked the Lost Creek Ridge trail off FR-49/Mtn Loop Hwy this past weekend and I lost my Nikon D800 with a 70-300mm lens. We were parked at a pullout about 300 feet past the Lost Creek Ridge trailhead and I believe the camera fell off the top of my car as I was driving away. I drove back to search and the camera appears to have been taken. It was nowhere to be found on the forest road/area around the trailhead.
This camera holds a lot of sentimental value as well as all of my photos from our most recent trip and many more from the past three years. If you know someone else who was hiking in the area yesterday, can you please reach out to see if they found it? Honestly I'd still be happy just to recover the memory card, whatever happened to the camera/lens.

Yep the photos were backed up on my external HD, but the photos from this trip were lost--and they were pretty special. :(
