Absolutely gorgeous hike to do in the fall. So many fall colors, even in early October. It was incredible.
This trail is very exposed for the majority of it, so make sure you wear plenty of sunscreen and bring plenty of water.
I highly recommend doing this hike on a weekday if you can to avoid crowds. We hiked on a Friday morning (started around 9 a.m.), and it was pretty quiet for the majority of the hike. We went back on Saturday morning to hike a portion of it and find a spot to watch the sunrise and it was crazy how many people were out hiking by 8:00 a.m.
