This is a nice short hike. The road in is a bit rough, but doable. There are only 6 parking spaces at the trail head, but while there I only saw one other person.
There were a few flowers blooming. Avalanche Lilies, and Bunch Berry Dogwood (just starting). I heard a lot of birds, but only saw a few.
The trail is in good shape and easy to follow. I did go a bit further than the lake, and the trail gets considerably more difficult. There is trail erosion not far from the lake.
To me, the lake it's self was unimpressive, but add the waterfall at the far end and Wow. No great view of the mountain on this day.
