This is such a pleasant trail right off the highway! Aside from the stunning Basalt formations that are the Twin Sisters; is an amazing scenery which includes the Columbia and some rolling hills. This was a great time to visit as the hills are quite green!
There a couple of miles of trail beyond just what goes up to the Twin Sisters. However, keep in mind that most of the trails have loose rock and if you're with small children please keep a close eye on them to make sure they don't slip.
