Arlington Airport Trail — Sunday, Feb. 28, 2021

Puget Sound and Islands > Bellingham Area

We parked at W.E. Evans Park on the eastern side of the airport at 59th Ave NE & 188th St NE.  From there we went clockwise.  The trail is mostly packed gravel with some paved sections.  The scenery varies from airport operations, industrial, to woods.  It's an interesting variety that changes with each stretch.  The trail is flat and ideally suited for a fast-paced walk or a run.

After the walk we stopped in at Skookum Brewery.  They have a dazzling variety of beers and a food truck on weekends.  On the way out, I picked up a couple six-packs of cider at Elemental Cider; one for me and the other for my gluten-intolerant friend.  Both Skookum Brewery and Elemental Cider are located on the eastern side of the airport.
