Road to the trailhead is great. Probably the nicest forest road in WA. There are a couple big potholes coming off the bridge to the Garfield Ledges trailhead but easy to navigate.
The trail is in good shape, except flooded in some parts and requires crossing several streams. Make sure you have good waterproof boots because there is no way around it.
