Although not signed, the bridge on the Park Butte Trail is out. The downed tree crossing is do-able, but some hikers turned back and the river is changing quickly. The trip report for Railroad Grade (by Scott) gives an excellent description. My dog and I made it across with the help and moral support of a fellow hiker - thank you Janey! Beyond the river, the trail is in great shape. Beautiful views today and lots of ripe blueberries. Fewer hikers than expected, possibly related to the bridge being out. Several folks heading up late afternoon to spend the night. A gorgeous day on Park Butte!
