we counted 412 cars on our way out at 1245pm 🥵 most of which were parked irresponsibly or dangerously. guys. if the trailhead is overcrowded, go somewhere else!!!! there are so many other great larch hikes in the area!!
we slept in our car at the th the night before and had a primo spot.
Larches are starting to turn, maybe next week they'll be peak, but I can’t imagine parking 🥴 be safe and smart guys

Cooney Lake, Eagle Lake, and Grasshopper Pass are all excellent, and have less than 20 people on them usually
