We hiked the short and easy Sol Duc Falls trail on a Tuesday morning in August. The parking lot had plenty of room at 10:00 a.m.
The trail was busy and there are some spots where social distancing is difficult, but the trail was in good shape. Mask compliance was about 70%.
The hike is a great one for families with kids as there is not much elevation gain and the hike is short enough with a big payoff at the beautiful waterfall.
