Saturday morning presented with light rain and cloudy skies, but I knew there was some sun up there above the moody skies!!!!! Started at 6am socked in with low clouds. Our objective was Mount Ruth and possibly Camp Schurman. The hike up to Ruth is no slouch, with plenty of sweat and tears. I should mention there is a slight obstacle on the ridge after Mount Ruth. If you want to continue on up the ridge you might have to scramble down a short rock wall. For those not comfortable scrambling you might want to turn around. We made it all the way to the top of the prow!! We were greeted by amazing views of Rainier.

Any trouble crossing the creek to get over to the base of Mt Ruth?
