Our group was intending to go on the CCC: Lower Road trail, so we parked at the gate near the end of Mt. Si road where there are signs for "school bus turnaround". After following the path from the gate, there is a fork with a sign that says to Mt. Teneriffe Waterfall. We decided to follow this trail and check out the waterfall. Still not sure where the CCC trail actually is.
Mt. Teneriffe Falls trail is challenging, but not as hard as Mt. Si and much more rewarding in my opinion. There are beautiful views at several points throughout the hike and the waterfall at the end is well worth the climb. We encountered several groups, but the trail was nowhere near as busy as Mt. Si at this time of year. Also, we feel like we avoided some crowds by parking where we did instead of in the Mt. Teneriffe parking lot.
