The trail is great up to the point where it crosses the west side of the peak to meet up American Ridge trail. There are some snowfields that freaked me out completely. Steep, high stakes kinda stuff, with direct sun and some steps just giving out when stepped on. I probably should've stopped, but I didn't really want to go back. I know some people weren't bothered by it, but unless you're quite comfortable with such things I'd give it a week or two for the super freaky snowfield at the end to melt.
Summit was great, although Ranier was hiding.
