Highline SeaTac Botanical Garden — Friday, May. 15, 2020

Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area

We wanted to go somewhere close to our house and we'd never been here before. I had no idea this was even here, so thanks WTA! :) We only saw a few people while we were there and it is really easy to social distance. There are a lot of little trails and pathways. The best garden area here was the Japanese garden. There is also a rose section that didn't have any roses blooming yet. There are a lot of little side trails to explore! My daughter loved it and kept saying "I'm climbing mountain" every time we came to a little "hill."

Overall I like Kubota Gardens better, but this is still a really nice place and closer to home. It also seems like it would be less crowded.

FYI no bathroom as the community center (which shares the parking lot) is closed due to Covid-19.
